A runway fashion show extravaganza to benefit the Young Women's Leadership Program of the Jenna Druck Foundation.
The "Butterfly Effect "Fashion Event brings together some of the finest fashion luminaries such as "Project Runway" Season 6 designer, Christopher Straub and Season 7 designer and TOP 3 finalist, Mila Hermanovski. Plus local San Diego designers, Jose Maria of Jose Maria Designs and Jeffrey Parish of Lago Designs--all debuting their Fall 2010 Collections.
Mix and mingle with a number of San Diego's finest Chefs during a phenomenal "Gastronomic Tour". Among the Chefs appearing: ChileCo Catering, Paradise Grille, Bice Ristorante, Giuseppe, and Solare.
Emmy Award winner Jai Rodriguez of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and the Broadway hit play "RENT" will serve as the evening's Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer. During the cocktail reception, enjoy a fashion installation featuring Tracy Graham of The House of Truman and Grace and Diana Cavagnaro, couture Milliner of Ahead Productions. Additionally, the Swiss Watch Gallery will be providing luxurious diamonds for our models to wear!

The scope of leadership is defined beyond academics--including success in athletics, community work, relationships, and choosing positive life paths. Through the provision of a safe environment, positive messages, and powerful experiences, girls learn that there is another way to view themselves, others, and how to live in the world. This results in increased self esteem, self confidence, ability to navigate through peer pressure, and quality decision making. Girls emerge as stronger contributing members of the community. |

The Jenna Druck Foundation
The mission of The Jenna Druck Center is to provide a lifeline to families who have lost a loved one and a path for young women to become leaders in their own lives.
Since 1996, the programs of The Jenna Druck Foundation have touched and inspired thousands. Proceeds from this event will enable the Foundation to continue and expand its incredibly worthwhile work.
The Young Women's Leadership Program was established to honor Jenna’s accomplishments as a leader by providing leadership training and opportunities to upcoming young women. The highlight of the program is the annual Spirit of Leadership Conference attended by middle school and high school young women, recipients of the Spirit of Leadership award, and featuring keynote speakers on a broad range of topics related to leadership and young women. The year round program also includes quarterly workshops and our new, bi-monthly “Girl Talk” session. Last year, almost 1,000 girls representing 100 San Diego County schools were served through this program.
